The Paderborn campus is in the heart of the Paderborn bishopric and is the easternmost campus of the Catholic University of Applied Sciences. It has some 750 students and offers bachelor’s degree programmes in social work, childhood education, nursing, and religious education as well as a master’s programme in social work and health. The Paderborn division occupies a historic building in a park near the city centre.
The town of Paderborn has around 140,000 residents and is dotted with parks and green spaces, while the surrounding area offers many outdoor activities. Though the city’s history goes back 1,200 years, it has a vibrant feel in which young people, high-tech industries and medieval architecture exist side by side.
