Cologne is a colourful and diverse metropolis on the Rhine. With over 1 million inhabitants, it is by far the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia. The most famous landmark is the iconic Cologne Cathedral in the centre of the city, and not only for this is Cologne an attractive destination for visitors from all over the world; the Romanesque churches, the old town with its quaint streets and typical breweries and “Bierstuben” and diverse cultural offerings inspire visitors and local residents alike.
The framework programme of the congress also offers the opportunity to get to know Cologne.
The congress will be held in the Catholic University of Applied Sciences, department Cologne. It is located in the centre of Cologne close to the Rhine and with excellent links to public transport.
There is plenty of hotel accommodation available in the centre of Cologne. Additional information will be provided in due course.
